To You, Mr. Ray...

I can’t say, I don’t like your direction and movie sense! But I have an objection; I just can’t tolerate to see you making “Feluda-Remix”, one after another!

You see, there are two types of audience…

1st category: - People who just love to see films in bigscreen! The director? Doesn’t matter here! They go, enjoy the action, comedies, come back home cheering!

2nd category: - Who love to read Satyajit Ray's Feluda; who love to visualize the hero in their imagination! They can see everything happening in front their eyes. Oh! he was an genius!

When these 2nd category people have gone to see your films… well, Mr. Ray, you have disappointed them, 3times in a row!!!

It hurts! It hurts when I see a new script, a new sequence, a new screenshot! I believe in keeping Satyajit Ray’s creation intact, I believe in purity. Every Feluda fan believes so!

You will say time has changed! Feluda should be modern, tech-savvy and all! But trust me; you have failed in this process! You have made a mockery of every story! You have tried to implements “your thoughts” (in Bengali: “Gojamil”), but you are mile away from success! It’s far better to show original Feluda, people love him, not your mockery! You can’t respect creations of a genius; unfortunately you are son of that genius!

A small suggestion to you Mr. Ray! Next time, if you make any movie based on Satyajit Ray’s Feluda; then please choose a completely different movie title and mention you movie is based on Satyajit Ray’s “that” story!

Please remember my suggestion, you can show this much of respect to the Great Man!

Can’t you?

                                               … A fan of Satyajit Ray’s Feluda

it is always difficult to recreate the magic of the legends.
satyajit ray is one of the finest indian film industry has ever witnessed and his directorial skills are still unmatched.
Though I like the way Mr.Ray (junior) takes up the challenge and makes movies.

A genius can not be lived upto but he can be followed. What I saw in Tintorettor Jishu was not that a blunder has been made. We see that often with every friday release in Tollywood. But the point is, Sandeep Ray missed even blunt details while making this one. We figured out almost 10 details inside the hall which could have been edited and changed if reviewed a single time. But Sandeep Ray and his team failed to do this! I wonder how!

There is no replacement of sincerity and while making a movie from the story of his legendary and genius father, Sandeep Ray could have at least been careful!

The locale of Hong Kong was too much into his mind perhaps to not pay heed to those details which brought comedy of errors to say the least in a fantastic work and what could have been a fantastic work.

We expect a little more sincerity from your Mr Sandeep Ray and sorry, for me Mr. Ray will always be your father. A title that is too heavy a burden for you to carry over it seems.

Good luck on your next venture.
